Underwater Naturalist Course

May 13, 2017 - May 14, 2017

Scuba Diving is what we live for, right? To learn how the complex underwater environment functions is rewarding and will enhance your diving experience! There are lots of ways that divers can bring value by knowing more about the underwater world, whether it’s to other divers, non-divers, the next generation of divers and more.

In this course, you will learn:

  • The major aquatic life groupings, interactions and factual information that dispels negative myths
  • The role of aquatic plants, food chains and predator/prey relationships
  • How to interact responsibly with aquatic life
  • The underwater naturalist’s view of organisms and their roles in the environment

This course is also a great way to be a more active conservationist. The more we know about the aquatic environment, the more we can do to help it!

We’re offering this special course as part of our Blue Heron Bridge trip! The course fee includes all study materials and the certification card.

Gear packages are available.
