On December 10th, join us for one of the most beautiful dives in Florida. Paradise springs is a privately-owned dive site with a true cavern that goes from 20 feet up to 100/110 feet. Fossils and small freshwater fish, fill the limestone ballroom, as your eyes adjust to the light and a gigantic prehistoric whale bone protrudes from its side. Stone steps lead you down to a small opening that opens up into a clear, blue, 72-degrees bowl. This cavern offers some of the most beautiful photo opportunities.

Unlike many other springs, Paradise does not have a flow running through the cavern. It is also known as a karst window, or an opening to an underwater stream. The dive site is only open three days a week and is very sensitive to damage. Having proper fin kicks and buoyancy control is very important to control damage and silting of this beautiful cavern. There is a small cave after the bottom cavern but it is clearly marked with signage. Only certified cave divers are allowed past that point.
