IANTD EANx Nitrox Diver (OC Only)

Our IANTD Nitrox / Enriched Air course is for divers who want to experience the Nitrox course with a “safer than air” breathing medium for enjoying dives in the 40 to 130-foot depth and who are looking to expand their technical training.

IANTD Advanced EANx Nitrox Diver (Open Circuit)

Our IANTD Nitrox / Advanced Enriched Air course is for divers who want to expand their knowledge on enriched air diving. This program qualifies divers to do dive to 140 feet and complete decompression stop, required dives up to 15 minutes.

IANTD Recreational Trimix Diver (OC, Rebreather)

The IANTD Recreational Trimix program is an introduction to recreational trimix gases designed to provide a breathing medium for extending dives using depths no greater than 80 feet. The course covers all Recreational Trimix gas mixes from 28% to a maximum of 40% oxygen, and Helium concentrations yielding a depth of no greater than 80 feet emphasizing the use of 30/15.

IANTD Advanced Recreation Trimix Diver (OC, Rebreather)

The IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix program is the next step in recreational trimix with gases designed to provide a breathing medium for extending dives using depths no greater than 160 feet with decompression stop required dives up to 15 minutes.

IANTD Deep Diver (OC, Rebreather)

The IANTD Deep Diver course goes over the procedures, skills, planning and theory behind deep diving. Student will conduct dives no greater than 30 feet.

PADI Tec Deep Diver

Our Tec Deep Diver training program includes technical diver equipment and air fill support. Adventure Outfitters is equipped with an air compressor and modified fill station to support trimix fills. This is on top of our already extensive enriched air and pure oxygen fills. We continue to supply outstanding, O2 clean air.

TEC 40

Tec 40 is a fantastic transition course from PADI recreational scuba diving to technical diving. TEC 40 qualifies you to make limited decompression dives to 40 meters/130 feet. During this course you gain experience and build the knowledge and skills required to continue tec diver training. To begin this course you must be:

  • A PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
  • A PADI Enriched Air Diver with at least 10 dives using enriched air deeper than 18 metres/60 feet
  • A PADI Deep Diver
  • At least 18 years old and have a minimum of 30 logged dives
  • Have a Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months

This course will take place in three sessions, each one consisting of self-paced study, classroom instruction, and a series of dives. We’ll try to complete the last dive of the course on one of the deep wrecks on the east coast. The cost for TEC 40 includes all study materials and air fills; dive sites entry fees, boat fees, and enriched air fills or oxygen fills are not included. Since this is a transition course, you can begin diving with an appropriate recreational BCD and suitable recreational dive computer; adding technical equipment as needed.

TEC 45

Tec 45 takes your technical diving training to the next level qualifying you to dive to a depth of 45 meters/145 feet and learning to plan and conduct repetitive decompression dives using a single stage/decompression cylinder. In TEC 45 you will dive in your complete technical rig and learn to make accelerated decompression dives using enriched air or pure oxygen. This is a challenging course that requires a commitment from you to become a full technical diver. To enroll in the TEC 45 course, you must:

  • Be a PADI TEC 40 diver
  • Be a PADI Rescue Diver
  • Have a minimum of 50 logged dives, with at least 12 dives on enriched air nitrox deeper than 18 metres/60 feet and 10 dives deeper than 30 metres/100 feet
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months

This course will also take place in three sessions, each consisting of self-paced study, classroom instruction, and a series of dives. We will complete the last dive of the course on one of the deep wrecks on the east coast. The cost for TEC 45 includes all study materials and air fills; dive sites entry fees, boat fees, and enriched air fills or oxygen fills are not included.

TEC 50

Tec 50 is the third course in the full PADI Tec Deep Diver program. Successfully completing this course will demonstrate you have the skills and competency as a tec diver to dive to a maximum of 50 meters/165 feet. You will learn to make extended, accelerated decompression stops using up to two gases. This is an extremely challenging yet rewarding course that opens your world to deeper diving and areas of the ocean limited to an extremely small, elite group of divers. To enroll in the TEC 50 course, you must:

  • Be a PADI TEC 45 diver
  • Have a minimum of 100 logged dives, with at least 20 dives on enriched air nitrox deeper than 18 metres/60 feet and 15 dives deeper than 30 metres/100 feet

The cost for TEC 50 includes all study materials and air fills; dive sites entry fees, boat fees, and enriched air fills or oxygen fills are not included.
